Leak Testing of Sealed Sources
SAHCI performs certified leak testing of radioactive sealed sources, references standards, and gauges. Our methods, procedures, and customized leak test kits are registered with the IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety under License #IL-01013-01, with nationwide reciprocity recognition. Tests are analyzed in our laboratory and results e-mailed to you within 5 working days. Please complete the leak test order form and submit it us. The leak test kits will be mailed immediately. Thereafter we will mail you pre printed kits every 6 months when the tests are due again.
Nuclear Equipment Calibrations
Stan A. Huber Consultants, Inc. (SAHCI) performs nuclear equipment calibrations on-site at your facility or in our lab. All of our radioactive sources and standards are NIST (NBS) traceable, and our calibration methods and procedures conform to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and State Health Department regulations.
We have regular routes throughout the Midwestern and North Central U.S. and can generally perform these calibrations on-site at your facility. Instruments can also be sent to our laboratory for calibration. We will perform these within 5 working days of receipt of the instrument. We keep back-up copies of all certificates in case replacement of your original becomes necessary. Most survey meter calibrations are $55.00 each plus shipping.
